Hello and welcome, my name is Courtland Santos and I’m the webmaster of CMSantos.net.

I started creating websites in late 2001 after graduating from college. I have enjoyed the many benefits it has provided my and my family over the years.

How This Website Came About

Back in the late 2001 after an unsuccessful attempt to find a good career, I decided to create a website hoping that it will become successful and atleast generate enough income for me and my family. Unfortunately, that didn’t go as planned and I ended up spending alot of money paying for web hosting fees and useless ebooks and software that didn’t get my site anywhere.

I got tired of listening to empty promises that cost an arm and a leg. I’m talking about all those B.S. ebooks and websites with false promises of success. My wife and I spent hours each week working on our website with no luck. After 10 months of hard work our website didn’t even ranked in the top 200,000 list in Google for the keyword we had chosen.

I started researching the internet for websites offering honest, reliable free tips and strategies to creating a successful website. We found a few but those sites didn’t really offer more than we had hoped for. So it dawned on me, why not create a website that will teach newbies to create a website and succeed with the search engines.

The very next day, I started gathering tips and strategies I had found from websites on the internet and tried all of them out. I started using free website hosting providers and blogs platforms like Wordpress and Blogger. Over the next 12 months I had to change my website building strategies and optimization techniques quite often. Remember, that I was experimenting on different tactics.

Results From Hard Work

By the end of Sep 2003, my website was generating 819 visitors per day. I know, it doesn’t sound alot, but it had visitors coming in. While my wife helped me with my website content, I concentrated on the web marketing part. By the end of 2003, my website visitors stats almost doubled.

We started experimenting with Google Adsense, at first my website was only generating an average of $23 dollars per day. But that was enough to pay for my web hosting fees and some other minor spending my wife and I had. Over the next two years I built 4 more websites all related to my first site. I wanted to perfect my system of creating and optimizing websites, after all these years my strategies continue to increase my website position and ranking status and this is how this website was born.

This website was created with newbies in mind. I want to share all the strategies and website building techniques I had learned over the years with everyone. And yes they are free for all.
